(June 10, 2015) CYPRESS, Calif. — Toyo Tire North America has announced that the new Ram 1500 Rebel pickup will be exclusively outfitted with the brand’s best-selling product, the Toyo Open Country A/T II. Inside the truck’s cab, the tire’s unique tread design is embossed on both the front and rear passenger seats.

A favorite among truck enthusiasts, the Open Country A/T II provides long tread life, exceptional all-season performance, an aggressive tread design, and a quiet ride.

A wear-resistant tread compound keeps the tire running longer, while the optimized tread design delivers traction on and off the road, including in rain, mud and snow. Low noise and a comfortable ride are additional features that set it apart from many all-terrain tires. The stylish tread design complements its excellent performance and is known for enhancing the look of trucks and SUVs.

The Ram Rebel is packed with features including an eight-speed automatic transmission, specially valved Bilstein shocks, a 1.0-inch taller ride height, and a choice of either a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 or the legendary 395 horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V-8.

The LT285/70R17 Open Country A/T II is built in the United States, at the Toyo Tires factory in White, Ga. The company uses a state-of-the-art manufacturing process that produces highly uniform and well-balanced tires. The complete Open Country A/T II line-up includes nearly 100 fitments, ranging from original equipment replacement to flotation sizes.
