Details of all-new Ducati Diavel revealed

(November 2, 2010) Hell for Leather has let slip some information about the all-new Ducati Diavel ahead of the bike's debut at EICMA.

According to Hell for Leather, the new bike’s output is 162 horsepower, 94 pound-feet of torque and weighs in at only 456 pounds in base version trim. HFL also reports the iconic Italian motorcycle-maker will also offering a Diavel Carbon version that uses carbon fiber to lower the GVW an additional seven pounds.

The Diavel also comes loaded with technology including a ride-by-wire throttle system, traction control, anti-lock brakes, a keyless ignition and a tank-mounted, light-sensing TFT display.

This kind of glorious antipasti doesn’t come cheap. HFL says the base model should be about $17,000 and the Carbon version near $20,000. That’s amour.
