BMW R 12 S takes up spirit of R 90 S

Ram demonstrates float-towing capability at 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving parade



(November 30, 2024) Ram trucks live up to their “Built to Serve” mission by towing oversized loads in holiday tradition as the official truck of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This year is the 10th anniversary of Ram’s participation in the event held on Thursday. Working closely with Macy’s Studios and New York City, Ram is helping to keep the holiday tradition alive as 27 Ram trucks tow massive floats, bringing joy to the hearts of millions across the nation.

Studebaker in the snow



This circa 1949-53 Studebaker pickup was discovered a few winters ago resting in a field of melting snow in Cortez, Col. It's in the 2R-Series family of Studebaker pickups. They were Studebaker's first pickups after World War II, a rather stylish truck compared to the more popular competition. Standard issue was a carryover inline six-cylinder engine with a three-speed manual transmission.

Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale undergoes dynamic testing at iconic Nardò Circuit



Test session to ensure validation of  
targets including 207 mph top speed


(November 29, 2024) The Alfa Romeo engineering team has just completed an intense test session with the “00 prototype” of the new 33 Stradale at the Nardò circuit, to test its driving dynamics and performance in extreme high-speed conditions. Specifically, the test team monitored and validated dynamic parameters such as aerodynamics, top speed, maximum temperatures, propulsive cooling systems and cabin soundproofing. All of this ahead of the first delivery, scheduled to take place in Italy in late December.

Hyundai recalling more than 226,000 vehicles over camera issue



(November 29, 2024) Hyundai is recalling more than 226,000 SUVs and small cars in the U.S. because the rearview camera image may not show up on the screens. The recall covers certain Santa Fe and Elantra vehicles from the 2021 and 2022 model years.

The installation transforms the gallery into a fully immersive celebration of the automobile through the lens of contemporary artist Mr Brainwash, including imaginative interpretations of iconic cars, engaging hands-on pieces, and an explosion of colors and unique creations.

Honda unveils production line for solid-state batteries



(November 26, 2024) TOKYO — Honda has unveiled the demonstration production line for all-solid-state batteries, which is being developed independently by Honda toward mass production. While conducting technical verification to establish a mass production process on this demonstration line, Honda will determine the basic specifications of the battery cells, with an aim to begin applying its all-solid-state batteries to electrified models that will be introduced to market in the second half of the 2020s.
