BMW recalling 270 vehicles over braking issue



(September 30, 2024) BMW is recalling 270 vehicles in the U.S. to fix improper welding on braking systems supplied by Continental, adding to a more widespread issue with the component. Engineers at BMW’s plant in Shenyang, China, discovered the new fault in July while performing quality control tests, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Audi unveils all-new 2025 Q6 e-tron lineup starting at $63,800

(September 28, 2024) As I’ve written before, Washington, D.C. is blessed with a heaping helping of history, most of it displayed in those vast expanses comprising the Smithsonian. Among the most prominent of those displays are American History, Natural History and African American history, along with two buildings — one on the National Mall and one near Washington’s Dulles Airport — devoted to Air and Space.

Toyota removing PRIME name from its plug-in hybrids



(September 27, 2024) Toyota was an early adopter of plug-in-hybrid powertrains, first entering the segment in 2012 with the Prius Plug-in Hybrid. The PHEV version of the Prius took on the name "Prime" when it returned for another generation in 2017, and Toyota added a Prime version of its popular RAV4 crossover for the 2021 model year.
