(July 21, 2022) LONDON — MOKE International has agreed to sell up to 100% of its shareholdings to EV Technology Group (EVTG), bolstering the famous British marque as it prepares to expand its future as a fully electric global brand.  EVTG specializes in electrifying iconic automotive brands and the strategic move comes as MOKE International launches the new British-built Electric MOKE – an emissions-free continuation of the legendary 1964 Mini Moke that is already facing  long waiting lists in France and the UK.

Ford trials robot charging station designed for disabled drivers



(July 21, 2022) For most of us, filling a car with fuel, or charging an electric vehicle is a simple task. But for disabled drivers, people with reduced mobility and older people it can be a significant challenge. Now, Ford has developed a prototype robot charging station that drivers operate via their smartphone from inside their electric vehicle.  The technology could enable disabled drivers to stay in the car while charging, or they could leave the car while the robot does all the work.

Rolls-Royce and Hyundai to collaborate on Advanced Air Mobility

BMW pilot project — Cars maneuver in production without drivers



(July 19, 2022) MUNICH, Germany — The BMW Group is launching a unique project that will see cars maneuver around production without requiring a driver. The Automated Driving In-Plant project (‘Automatisiertes Fahren im Werk’, AFW) is being realized in collaboration with two startups and will enhance the efficiency of new-vehicle logistics in plants and distribution centers.

With the latest in technology and powertrain the company promotes it as the “smartest, most innovative F-150 that Ford has ever built,” and the 30-plus media members would have to agree after a brief spin on Miami’s Rickenbacker Causeway.
