Honda’s Alabama auto plant marks 20 years of auto production



(November 15, 2021)  LINCOLN, Ala. — Honda marked 20 years of vehicle and engine production in Alabama, Sunday (Nov. 14) at the company’s production facility in Lincoln. Honda began production in Alabama on Nov. 14, 2001, when an Odyssey minivan rolled off the assembly line, paving the way for what is now $2 billion in cumulative capital investment and more than 5 million light trucks and V-6 engines built over the company’s first two decades.

A New Mexico 'Iron Pig'



This is an example of the Toyota FJ55 — a forerunner of the current Land Cruiser — that was commonly known as the “Iron Pig.” It was built from 1967 through 1980. The exact model year of this truck found in Santa Fe, N.M., is unknown.

New Acura Integra prototype makes global debut

Finished in striking Indy Yellow Pearl paint borrowed from NSX, the Integra Prototype is a strong indication of the exterior design of the all-new 2023 Acura Integra, which will be priced around $30,000 when it arrives at Acura dealers next year.
