Ram 1500 Limited RED Edition to pull Santa’s sleigh in parade



(November 24, 2021) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — The Ram Truck brand is participating in the one-of-a-kind holiday tradition as the Official Truck of the 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the seventh consecutive year. Working closely with the Macy's team and the city of New York, Ram is helping to keep the holiday tradition alive as more than 20 trucks will tow all the floats.

Grand Marquis in the bushes



The Mercury Grand Marquis was a full-sized sedan sold from 1975 to 2011. From 1975 to 1982, it was the premium model of the Mercury Marquis line becoming a stand-alone model line in 1983. This circa 1983-1984 Grand Marquis was found engulfed by overgrown bushes in eastern North Carolina.

GM acquires 25 percent stake in Pure Watercraft to accelerate electric boating

Double debut for the Bentley Flying Spur family in China

Cadillac Lyriq EV crosses crucial development milestone



(November 23, 2021) Cadillac engineers recently completed the “80 percent” validation drive for the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq — a critical milestone in Cadillac’s first luxury EV’s development, marking a transition to the final stage prior to production. By confirming that all components and technologies are at or beyond 80 percent, engineers can now focus on fine tuning Lyriq prior to production.

Merchants Fleet expands BrightDrop EV order to 18,000



(November 22, 2021) DETROIT  —  BrightDrop, the technology startup helping decarbonize last-mile deliveries, has announced that Merchants Fleet, the nation’s fastest growing fleet management company, plans to expand its purchase order to 18,000 BrightDrop electric vehicles with the addition of 5,400 EV410s — the recently unveiled mid-size electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV). The EV410 order adds to the 12,600 EV600s slated to be integrated into the company’s fleet starting in 2023.

Honda retains top spot among full-line automakers in fuel efficiency



(November 22, 2021) Honda again leads the U.S. auto industry with both the highest fleet average fuel economy and lowest fleet average CO2 emissions of all full-line automakers in America, according to a new report from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released today. Honda continues a more than 40-year history of fuel-efficiency leadership as the most fuel-efficient automaker for the 2020 model year (MY 2020), the latest year for which full data is available, which forms the basis of the EPA report.
