(August 16, 2021) WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. — In an effort to promote a renewal of friendly waving among Mini owners, Mini USA has announced the creation of National Mini Wave to Friends (WTF) Day, which will join an already significant date in Mini’s history — August 26 — the birthday of Mini back in 1959.  Over the past few years, the Mini Wave has fallen out of common use, prompting many owners and even Mini headquarters to proclaim: “WTF!”

(August 16, 2021) A unique ‘time capsule’ McLaren F1 road car has set a record auction price of $20.465 million at Gooding & Company’s Pebble Beach Auctions this past weekend. With less than 243 miles on its odometer, this spectacular example of the F1 was sold in its "as delivered" state and surpassed the previous record for a McLaren F1 road car of $15.62 million set in 2017.

The Dodge Dart was built from 1959 to 1976. By the time it entered its third generation in 1963 it had become a large compact vehicle and remained a popular family car through the end of its run in 1976. It compared to the Ford Falcon and Chevrolet Nova at the time. This 1966 model was found languishing in Utah.

Ford Bronco roof issues will delay delivery by months



(August 12, 2021) DETROIT — Ford said Thursday it needs to replace molded-in color hardtop roofs on all Bronco SUVs built to date, which will delay production and delivery to owners by months, according to Automotive News. The automaker, in a letter to customers, said the molded-in color hard tops on both two-door and four-door Broncos suffer from a quality issue that creates an "unsatisfactory appearance when exposed to extreme water and humidity."
