All-electric Volkswagen ID.4 EV prepares for cross-country drive



(March 12, 2021) HERNDON, Va. — Volkswagen of America is embarking on a 6,000-mile drive across the U.S. this weekend with the all-electric Volkswagen ID.4 EV. Starting in New York City on Saturday, a small team is crossing the states on a predominantly southern route and will wrap up the drive in approximately 18 days in Sacramento, Calif.

Maserati MC20 super sports car unleashed on the snow



(March 11, 2021) MODENA, Italy — The MC20 has never previously been seen unleashing its power on low-grip surfaces. The new Maserati super sports car  is currently engaged in a series of reliability tests (on road and track, in various driving conditions) and intensive cold-weather trials on the snow-covered roads of the Valtellina and at the Ghiacciodromo Livigno (Sondrio), Italy’s most notable snow and ice circuit.

Old Fords stick together



A 1946 Ford truck shares time in retirement with a 1957 Ford pickup in Utah. Ford redesigned its 1942 trucks, which sold in limited numbers because of the onset of World War II. The 1942 design was carried over into the 1946 model year when sales resumed. Two engines were available — a 90-horsepower inline 6 and a 100-horsepower V-8. Ford completely restyled its pickup for 1957. The '57 came in Styleside and Stepside configurations.

The all-new Mercedes-Maybach will be priced from $185,950 including destination charge. It will arrive in U.S. dealerships this summer.
