Georgetown Toyota plant celebrates 13 millionth vehicle



(March 19, 2021) GEORGETOWN, Ky. — A very special RAV4 Hybrid rolled off the line at Toyota’s largest plant worldwide in Georgetown, Ky., earlier this month. What is so unique about it? But the bestselling SUV also marked the 13th millionth vehicle assembled at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky (TMMK) since production started in 1988.

Subaru Share the Love event reaches $26.2 million in charitable donations



(March 19, 2021) Subaru of America has announced its donation of more than $20.6 million to national and local charities resulting from the 2020 Subaru Share the Love Event. When combined with participating Subaru retailer donations, the total donation climbed to $26.2 million in 2020. More than $200 million has been donated to charities throughout the last 13 years of the campaign.

Parnelli Jones’ famed 'Big Oly' Ford Bronco Baja Racer to be auctioned



(March 19, 2021) WALWORTH, Wis. — The most recognizable Ford Bronco in the world and the first “super car” of off-road racing—piloted by one of the most diverse and successful drivers in motorsports history — will be offered for sale to the public for the very first time this May. The famed 1969 Ford Bronco Baja 1000 Racer known as “Big Oly” — still owned by its even more famous pilot Parnelli Jones — is slated to cross the Mecum auction block at the company’s 34th annual Original Spring Classic auction May 14-22 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.

One sure-fire giveaway that someone has a brand new car is to see a shiny vehicle parking perpendicular across two or there parking spaces. The presumable reason is to stop someone from parking too closely and putting a dent somewhere on this “prized asset.” Technically it makes sense. Somebody is proud of a vehicle that he or she has worked hard for and spent many thousands of dollars on. However, one thing these selfish fecal craniums fail to consider is that everybody in that parking lot has spent thousands of dollars or more on their own rides.

1936 restorable Oldsmobile



This 1936 Oldsmobile found in eastern North Carolina seems to be in restorable condition. For 1936 the Oldsmobile came with two engine options — the Series F with a straight-6-cylinder and the longer Series L with a straight 8. The Oldsmobile was restyled for 1935-36 and again in 1937.

Parkopedia announces production version of indoor mapping services
