Mitsubishi, Amazon.com collaborate for world premier of 2022 Outlander



(February 8, 2021) FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) today confirmed details for  global debut of the upcoming all-new 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander. In the same way that Outlander will challenge conventions regarding both the brand and the segment, the launch will do the same. Through a first-of-its-kind collaboration with Amazon, the 2022 Outlander will be the first vehicle ever unveiled on Amazon Live. The debut will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. EST.

Toyota remains R&D patent leader among automakers in 2020



(February 8, 2021) ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The United States Patent and Trademark Office awarded Toyota more patents than any other automaker in 2020, according to an annual ranking by the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO). Toyota’s engineers and scientists were granted a total of 2,819 patents in 2020, up 4 percent from 2019 and far outpacing any other automaker in the United States.

Ford to manufacture Mustang Mach-E in China for local customers

Electricity becomes human in this alternative Super Bowl EV ad by Porsche



(February 7, 2021) A Los Angeles-based production company, led by Director Jeremy Heslup has created an alternative Super Bowl advertisement, starring a mysterious ‘Mr. E’ and a 2021 Porsche Taycan Turbo electric vehicle (EV). A staple not only in sports but also in advertising, the Super Bowl features advertisements that are more narrative driven, attracting over 202 million viewers in 2020. With this in mind, Valkyr came together to work on the alternative Super Bowl piece with a 2021 Porsche Taycan Turbo, which can be seen today.
