Volkswagen teams with Microsoft to accelerate development of automated driving



(February 11, 2021) WOLFSBURG, Germany — Volkswagen Group has further strengthened its capabilities in the development of automated driving (AD) solutions. The Group’s software company Car.Software Organization will collaborate with Microsoft to build a cloud-based Automated Driving Platform on Microsoft Azure and leverage its compute and data capabilities with the goal of delivering reliable and safe automated driving experiences even faster and on a global scale.

Production of compact VW Taos crossover begins for U.S.



(February 11, 2021) PUEBLA, Mexico — Volkswagen de México began the production of its Taos model for exportation markets this week, with the United States being the first foreign destination for this new compact SUV. The German carmaker has produced more than 4,300 units of Taos to date for the Mexican market.

Kia unveils roadmap for transformation focusing on EVs

Bruce Springsteen leads Jeep Brand’s 2021 Super Bowl campaign 'The Middle'



(February 9, 2021) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Bruce Springsteen and the Jeep brand have joined together to launch the two-minute film “The Middle.” The film can now be viewed across the Jeep brand's social media channels, and it made a one-time television appearance during Sunday's Super Bowl game. The campaign debuted nearly 10 years to the day from the launch of the “Imported from Detroit” campaign.
