Dodge sold lightly face-lifted revisions of its 1942 design from 1946 through the 1948 season. Production on the 1946 model started in late 1945 at the conclusion of World War II. As before, these were a single series of six-cylinder models with two trim levels — basic Deluxe or plusher Custom. In 1946 Dodge was fourth in sales behind Ford, Chevrolet and Plymouth with 163,490 units sold. Sales went up to 243,160 in 1947 and 243,340 in 1948. This circa 1946-1948 Dodge was found along Route 66.

Nissan, EVgo expand charging network with 200 direct current fast chargers

(August 8, 2019) NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Nissan and EVgo are expanding the charging network for EV drivers with the installation of 200 direct current fast chargers (DCFC) across the United States. Each of the new fast-chargers is capable of delivering 100kW and have both CHAdeMO and CCS connectors so more EV drivers can benefit.

Mecum's Harrisburg auction realizes $31 million in sales

(August 8, 2019) WALWORTH, Wis. — Mecum’s recent auction in Harrisburg, Pa., held July 31-Aug. 3 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, saw overall sales totals exceed $31.1 million as more than 70% of all 1,301 offered vehicles hammered sold. The solid lineup of rare and desirable collector cars helped propel Harrisburg 2019 sales to a more than $7 million increase over 2018 for an astonishing 30% one-year growth in revenue.

GMC announces changes, new standard equipment across 2020 lineup

(August 7, 2019) DETROIT — GMC says it is strengthening its 2020 truck and SUV lineup with premium, bold styling and smarter technologies. GMC raises the bar by adding standard safety features to Terrain and offering the first-ever AT4 Acadia.
