Honda announces two new four-seat sport side-by-side models

(June 5, 2019) MIDLOTHIAN, Texas — During the kickoff of Power Lab 2019, a Honda Powersports dealer event held at TexPlex Park, Honda unveiled a pair of new four-seat sport side-by-side models — the Talon 1000X-4 and Talon 1000X-4 FOX Live Valve.

Breaking cover just six months after the industry-disrupting announcement of the Talon 1000X and Talon 1000R two-seat models — and only three months since they hit the market — these new additions to the young Talon family advance off-road driving technology while opening the experience to additional family and friends.

Michelin and GM take the air out of tires for passenger vehicles

(June 5, 2019) MONTREAL — Michelin and General Motors presented a new generation of airless wheel technology, the MICHELIN Uptis Prototype (or “Unique Puncture-proof Tire System”), at the Movin’On Summit for sustainable mobility on Tuesday. GM intends to develop this airless wheel assembly with Michelin and aims to introduce it on passenger vehicles as early as 2024.

Nissan says its Navara pickup is 'smarter, safer, and connected' for 2020

(June 4, 2019) LONDON — Nissan has today unveiled the "smarter, safer, and connected" Navara with a host of new features designed to boost the appeal of the award-winning mid-sized pickup.

The latest Navara, sold in Asia, Europe, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia, receives several key changes. These include a new 6-speed manual gearbox, revised alloy wheel designs, and the latest in-car connectivity. Multi-link rear suspension has now been added to the King Cab, making this feature standard on all models.

Legendary auto designer Ian Callum departs Jaguar after 20 years

(June 4, 2019) COVENTRY, England — Jaguar today announced that Ian Callum, director of design, will leave his position at the company after two decades heading up Jaguar Design. Julian Thomson, currently creative design director, has been appointed to the role of director of design, effective July 1.

Since joining Jaguar in 1999, Callum has built a world-class creative design team, established a new design philosophy and revived the range with award-winning designs.

Volvo teams with POC to crash test bike helmets

Infiniti to refocus operations to drive sustainable growth
