Ford Commercial Vehicle Center program aids fleet, commercial customers

(February 2, 2017) DEARBORN, Mich. — Ford, the commercial vehicle leader for 31 straight years, has introduced its Commercial Vehicle Center program to provide fleet and commercial customers nationwide with outstanding sales, service and financing at the dealership level.

The network includes more than 650 Ford dealers committed to offering commercial customers the vehicles, financing options and service support their businesses need. The Commercial Vehicle Center program replaces the groundbreaking Ford Business Preferred Network of commercial dealers.

GM sales down in January, but company maintains positive outlook

(February 1, 2017) DETROIT — General Motors overall sales were down 3.8 percent in January year-over-year, and down 4.9 percent to 155,010 units for retail sales. But GM says it maintains a positive outlook in part because transaction prices set a new January record.

“In early January, we focused on profitability while key competitors sold down their large stocks of deeply discounted, old-model-year pickups,” said Kurt McNeil, U.S. vice president of Sales Operations.

Ford brings 'Go Further' to life with FordHub and Super Bowl ad
