Alfa Romeo announces pricing of new 2017 Giulia

Nissan Juke does world's first 'blind' J-turn using only cameras

(December 8, 2016) SUNDERLAND, UK — The record-breaking Nissan Juke has done it again. This time the popular compact crossover has established the world's first 'blind' J-turn record with the driver using only the car's Intelligent Around View Monitor (AVM) on-board camera technology for guidance. Stuntman Paul Swift spun the car 180 degrees with all the windows blacked out, using only the Juke's four exterior cameras to position himself.

Audi launches first Vehicle-to-Infrastructure technology in U.S.

First post-war Ford



The first post-World War II Ford came off the assembly line in July 1945 as a 1946 model. Ford was throughly updated in 1941 before production was halted in 1942 for the war, and the 1946 was a continuation of the '41 model. An all-new Ford was introduced in 1949. This 1946 Ford was found in North Dakota.

Chevrolet's first 9-speed transmission debuts in 2017 Malibu

(December 6, 2016) DETROIT — Chevrolet’s first nine-speed automatic transmission makes its debut in the 2017 Malibu and will be available in the 2017 Cruze Diesel and 2018 Equinox, advancing a legacy of multispeed transmissions designed to optimize efficiency, performance and refinement.

The new, General Motors-developed Hydra-Matic 9T50 nine-speed is paired with the available 2.0L Turbo engine in the Malibu, contributing to an EPA-estimated 33 mpg highway — a 3 percent increase over the 2016 model with the six-speed automatic.

Mercedes-Benz surpasses 2015's unit sales already in November

(December 6, 2016) Mercedes-Benz increased its unit sales in November by 12.7% to 182,602 vehicles, thus achieving its 45th consecutive record month. With more than 1,893,000 vehicles delivered since the beginning of the year, Mercedes-Benz has already surpassed its unit sales of full-year 2015 in the first 11 months of this year.
