(May 18, 2016) PHOENIX — Elio Motors, the startup vehicle manufacturer planning to launch a three-wheeled vehicle that will get up to 84 mpg with a targeted base price of $6,800, has announced that it has signed a Letter of Intent with Linamar Corp, one of the auto industry's leading powertrain development and production companies.

Under the agreement, Linamar will partner with Elio for the manufacturing of the Elio motors for Elio, as well as for engines for global use in the automotive, marine and industrial sectors outside of the US.

(May 18, 2016) EL SEGUNDO, Calif. —Hot Wheels has unveiled its take on the Indy 500 Championship Trophy. The custom trophy will be unveiled by Ryan Hunter-Reay at the Indianapolis Children's Museum and will celebrate the past 99 epic Indy races with 99 Hot Wheels cars. 

"All 99 cars featured on this trophy have an authentic Indy 500 story," said Chris Down, senior vice president and general manager, Hot Wheels.  "Most of them are about the journey, not the win.  For kids and adults that is exactly what Hot Wheels play is about. Everyone has a Hot Wheels story!"

(May 18, 2016) DETROIT — The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) announced Tuesday that Chinese automaker GAC Group will exhibit on the main show floor at the 2017 auto show. GAC Group returns to Detroit after it participated at the 2015 NAIAS where the company unveiled its GS4 SUV in front of thousands of international journalists.

(May 17, 2016) ANN ARBOR, Mich., — The launch of Domino's DXP delivery vehicles last year has franchisees asking for more, and more they will get. This summer, Domino's Pizza, the recognized world leader in pizza delivery, will roll out an additional 58 DXPs across 23 markets in the U.S., bringing the total number of DXPs to 155.
