Ford's China sales up 18 percent in first two months of 2016

(March 8, 2016) Ford’s sales in China during the first two months of the year increased 18 percent compared to the same period last year, with 194,182 vehicles sold. Ford sold 63,350 vehicles in February, down 9 percent compared to February 2015.

Year-to-date sales for Changan Ford Automobile (CAF), Ford's passenger car joint venture, totaled 160,119 vehicles, up 29 percent compared to last year. CAF sold 48,263 vehicles in February, down 10 percent from 2015.

U.S., Italy, China — Key stops for Porsche's 'Rolling Museum' in 2016

Ford 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel — Traveling to the moon and back

(March 7, 2016) DEARBORN, Mich. — Ford engineers have designed the all-new 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel engine for the Ford F-650 and F-750 lineup to travel an even greater distance than a round trip from the Earth to the moon.

This confidence in 6.7-liter Power Stroke quality comes from engine dynamometer testing that shows a statistically proven B10 engine design life of at least a half-million miles. This is the estimate of miles in operation before 10 percent of engines are expected to require major service involving removal of cylinder heads or dropping the oil pan to reach internal components.

(March 6, 2016) Let me get this out of the way right at the beginning. I’ve never been a big fan of the Cadillac Escalade. Whether it’s the size, the fact that it’s a well appointed but very expensive version of the Chevy Suburban, the hip-hop imagery, etc., etc., etc., I never could get excited about this vehicle. And while I still cannot imagine myself owning this full-size SUV, I have to admit, it has its positives.
