The 1794 Edition is available only as a CrewMax, and comes with such amenities as unique silver exterior details, saddle-brown leather upholstery with simulated suede trim for the front seats and matching soft-touch materials for the shift console, door trim and instrument panel.

This two-minute film highlights the Davis three-wheeler that employed a "tri-cycle landing gear principle." As shown in the film, it also featured built-in jacks to make tire changing an "exhilarating experience."

Lexus IS sports sedan to get turbocharged 4-cylinder engine for 2016

(July 25, 2015) The Lexus IS luxury sport sedan will enter the 2016 model year with a three model strategy with IS 200t, IS 300 AWD, and IS 350. The former IS 250 and IS 250 AWD are discontinued.

The IS adds to its stable of engines and receives a turbocharged gas engine, bringing the number of engine alternatives to three. 
Lexus says drivers will have a hard time deciding which IS to take home with rear-wheel drive (RWD), all-weather drive (AWD) and F SPORT variants.

Fiat Chrysler recalls 1.4 million vehicles to install anti-hacking software

(July 25, 2015) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Less than a week after hackers remotely gained control of a Jeep Cherokee, Fiat Chrysler has issued a recall of 1.4 million vehicles to close a software loophole in the Internet-ready Uconnect radios. FCA says the recall aligns with an ongoing software distribution that insulates connected vehicles from remote manipulation, which, if unauthorized, constitutes criminal action.

Frazer, which was built from 1946 through 1951, was the upper-medium priced luxury car from the Kaiser-Frazer Corp. Start your engines! Mopar Challenger Drag Pak ordering begins

(July 24, 2015) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Mopar has announced the launch of ordering for the new Mopar Dodge Challenger Drag Pak, with the option of the brand’s first-ever offering of a supercharged 354-cubic-inch Gen III HEMI engine or a naturally aspirated 426-cubic-inch Gen III HEMI engine.

Pricing will be cubic-inch appropriate, with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $99,426 for the naturally aspirated 426 version and $109,354 for the 354 supercharged race car.

GM reports strong second-quarter earnings growth

(July 24, 2015) DETROIT — General Motors on Thursday reported strong earnings growth for the second quarter with net income attributable to common stockholders of $1.1 billion, or 67 cents per diluted share, which included a $1.1 billion loss from special items before tax, or 62 cents per diluted share. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) adjusted increased to $2.9 billion and EBIT-adjusted margin grew to 7.5 percent.
