Ford explores new approach to enhance fuel efficiency of 1.0-liter EcoBoost

(June 4, 2015) BRENTWOOD, Essex, England — Ford is investigating an innovative new engine management approach that could be a key to helping make the company’s award-winning three-cylinder 1.0‑liter EcoBoost engine even more fuel efficient.

On-road tests using a working prototype showed fuel efficiency improvements of up to six per cent after engineers conducted an experimental investigation into cylinder deactivation.

Mercedes-Benz year-to-date sales increase 9 percent to 150,868

Tad Agoglia, founder of First Response Team of America, directed the effort and led the caravan of Ram trucks into areas to distribute supplies. The First Response Team of America utilized a fleet of Ram vehicles and community restoration equipment to assist residents.
