Hyundai hands keys to first Tucson fuel cell customer

(June 11, 2014) TUSTIN, Calif. — On June 10, Tustin Hyundai’s Dealer Principal, John Patterson, handed over the keys to Hyundai’s first mass-produced Tucson Fuel Cell CUV in a ceremony with Hyundai executives and Timothy Bush, the first Hyundai Fuel Cell customer.

“My family is certainly excited to be doing their part in driving a zero-emission vehicle that benefits the environment, and at the same time, reduces
our nation’s dependence on imported fuels,” said Bush.

Alfa Romeo franchises awarded to 86 dealers in U.S. and Canada

(June 10, 2014) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — An initial group of 86 dealers have been awarded Alfa Romeo franchises in the United States and Canada. In the U.S., 82 Alfa Romeo dealers are located in 33 states, with California, Texas, and Florida having the largest concentration of dealerships. There are four Alfa Romeo dealers in Canada in this first group.
 
These 86 dealers will be the first to sell the all-new 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C coupe and limited-edition 4C Launch Edition when the iconic Italian sports car brand returns to the North American market this year.
 

Volvo national TV spot developed by young filmmaker

(June 10, 2014) ROCKLEIGH, N.J. — A major creative element of Volvo Cars of North America’s summer sales event this year will feature a national television spot by Jesse Harris, up-and-coming commercial director and founder of the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFTTY).

Volvo, a founding sponsor of NFTTY since it was established in 2007, and Harris have worked together over the last seven years to develop a commercial to excite the festival audience each year. This year, Harris’ work will be converted to a national television spot by Volvo which begins airing nationwide today.

BMW's Ultimate Driving Experience launches June 14 in Boston

GM announces another four recalls

(June 9, 2014) DETROIT — General Motors has announced three safety recalls and one non-compliance recall, all of which were reported to the NHTSA on June 5. In all cases, customers will receive letters from GM letting them know when they can bring their vehicles into a dealership, where all repairs will be performed free of charge and courtesy transportation would be provided as needed.
