(April 5, 2012) NEW YORK — Jaguar formally announced at the New York Auto Show that an all-new sports car will enter production — the Jaguar F-TYPE.  A  two-seat sports car, the Jaguar F-TYPE will launch as a convertible becoming the fourth model in the current line of cars, along with the XF sports sedan, the XJ luxury sedan and the XK coupe/convertible.

But then this is track like no other — and it was built for motorcycles, not cars. It measures just 31-foot in diameter and it’s 85 years old. It’s made almost entirely of wood, and it’s redolent with the tang of oil, sweat and fear. Oh, and the track walls are completely vertical.
