All-test-drive auto show to feature 130 chances behind the wheel

(April 11, 2012) LONG BEACH, Calif. — The streets of Long Beach soon will be filled with dads and grads test driving auto manufactures newest vehicles.  The SoCal Test Drive Expo , the nation's first-ever all test drive auto show, will take place in the Long Beach Convention Center on Father's Day Weekend, June 15-17.

Featuring new makes and models from auto manufacturers, the show's unique, one-stop registration process will allow visitors to test drive dozens of different vehicles from the automotive brands with a single $10 admission.

Ford, Yahoo! launch Ford electric online reality competition series

(April 10, 2012) NEW YORK — Ford and Yahoo! today announced a new program to promote the launch of the Focus Electric, with "Plugged In," Yahoo!'s first reality competition series.

Beginning in May and timed to the availability of Focus Electric in multiple U.S. markets, the series is being broadcast exclusively on Yahoo! Screen — Yahoo!'s video destination.

NADA, J.D. Power form strategic alliance

New high-performance Porsche Cayenne GTS set for world premiere

Ford recalling 2012 Focus over windshield wiper issue

(April 9, 2012) DETROIT — Ford is recalling 140,310 Focus compact cars from model year 2012 in the United States to repair a potential problem with the passenger-side windshield wiper motor, according to U.S. safety regulators.

A seal plug in the wiper motor electrical connector may be missing, allowing water into the motor's electrical connection, according to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. That could result in an inoperative wiper on the passenger side, reducing visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.
