Kia posted a 60-second commercial on YouTube Friday. The spot opens with post-apocalyptic battle scene between robotic aliens and space-age soldiers. That is, until the hamsters arrive in their 2012 Kia Soul and everyone starts dancing to music from electro-pop dance music group LMFAO.

(August 26, 2011) Historically the Toyota Camry has been the bestselling car in the U.S. in 13 of the last 14 years, and is on pace for the top spot again in 2011. Additionally Camry accounted for 22 percent of all Toyotas sold in the U.S. in 2010.

So it is not surprise that Toyota played it incredibly safe with its all-new 2012 version, which will reach dealer showrooms on Oct. 3.
