Rolls-Royce opens showroom in Malaysia

Government finds no safety issues with Toyota Corolla steering

(May 20, 2011) Toyota officials this month put another safety investigation behind them. The U.S. government has announced that it found no electronic-related steering defects that would compromise safety in 2009 and 2010 model Corollas.

That is good news for the Japanese automaker because the compact-sized Corolla is its second-biggest volume car in terms of sales. With 266,000 Corollas sold last year, only the mid-sized Camry outsold it in the Toyota lineup.

Stamp highlights first Indy 500 winner

Chevrolet says removing spare tire sheds 26 pounds

(May 20, 2011) MILFORD, Mich. — Changing a flat tire on the side of a busy freeway can be a dirty and dangerous job. The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze offers a safer option — an on-board tire inflator kit that also helps improve fuel efficiency by shedding 26 pounds of spare tire and jacking hardware.

The inflator kit is among 42 changes to the Cruze Eco that help it to an EPA-estimated 42 mpg on the highway.

Aston-Martin to unveil new V-12 Zagato

China becomes second best market for Bentley

(May 20, 2011) BEIJING — Bentley Motors this week announced that it had sold a record 396 cars in mainland China in the first four months of 2011. This shattered the previous record — which was set only last year — by 66 percent.

In 2010, Bentley sold just under a thousand cars in China — nearly double the previous year’s performance — making it the third most important single market for Bentley.
