New F SPORT variations, multimedia on 2023 Lexus ES starting at $43,640
(October 27, 2022) PLANO, Texas — The Lexus ES continues to offer customers many choices to fit their personalized interests, passions and lifestyles for the 2023 model year. As the top-selling sedan in the brand’s lineup, the Lexus ES returns for 2023 with the Lexus Interface multimedia system, a redesigned center console and new trim and material options. The ES family is also expanding this year with the introduction of F SPORT Design and Handling, complete with styling and performance upgrades making for an exhilarating grade.
With the added variety, this makes the 2023 Lexus ES the most engaging ES ever with three available powerful engines, all-wheel drive capability and multiple F SPORT models.
For 2023, the starting at $43,640 including destination charge for both ES 350 and ES 250 AWD. The ES 300h starts at $44,840, and the first-ever ES F SPORT Handling exclusive to ES 350 and ES 300h will be available at showroom floors nationwide starting at $50,040 $ and $51,135, respectively. The new 2023 ES is expected to arrive in dealerships this fall.
Since the F SPORT introduction on the seventh-generation Lexus ES, it has appealed to a younger and more diverse buyer looking for more aggressive sedan styling and unmatched performance perfected on the track. For 2023, F SPORT Design is offered on all three powertrains — ES 250 AWD, ES 350 and ES 300h.
Based on the ES features with the Premium Package, the F SPORT Design adds F SPORT 19-in. split-five-spoke alloy wheels with Gloss Black finish and F SPORT exterior styling, including unique front bumper, grille surround and rear spoiler. For 2023, Intuitive Park Assist comes standard. Available features include, a Mark Levinson sound system, Lexus Interface with the 12.3-inch screen, a Head-Up-display, power rear sunshade, the panorama roof, triple beam LED headlamps and power open/close trunk with kick sensor on F SPORT Design.
Enthusiasts will find that 2023 adds a new F SPORT Handling grade available on ES 350 and ES 300h, further enhancing the driving appearance and sportiness of the Lexus ES. Based on the exterior of the ES F SPORT Design grade, the ES F SPORT Handling grade comes standard with Sport+ and Custom Drive modes, Intuitive Parking Assist, F SPORT-tuned Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), heated F SPORT steering wheel and Hadori aluminum trim, aluminum pedals and black headliner.
Inside the cabin, customers will have the option to take it even further in their ES F SPORT Handling with available options, including Mark Levinson 17-speaker, 1,800-watt PurePlay Surround Sound, Lexus Interface with 12.3-in. touchscreen display, Head-Up Display and power rear sunshade. On the exterior, F SPORT Handling options include premium triple-beam LED headlamps and power open/close trunk with kick sensor.
The Lexus ES family provides customers with a best-of-all-worlds combination of evocative design, exhilarating performance and human-centered craftsmanship. The 2023 Lexus ES exterior is a carryover from 2022, but inside, guests will be met with a redesigned center console complete with a new sunglass holder, new cup holder location and available wireless charger.
The 2023 ES embraces continuous improvement with the introduction of the new state-of-the-art Lexus Interface multimedia system, with a higher-resolution touchscreen display. The Lexus Interface multimedia system and connected services present a re-envisioned user experience for ES guests. With a standard 8-inch or optional 12.3-inch touchscreen display, the system features the latest display featuring higher resolution and smartphone-like, anti-glare technology. Users can interact with the system through intuitive touch and voice activation controls.
Lexus Interface incorporates a Voice Assistant available through voice activation or accessible via a button on the steering wheel. Simple phrases like “Hey Lexus” awaken the system for voice-activated commands. Developed with a human-centered approach, the Voice Assistant allows for a natural and intuitive way for guests to interact with the new multimedia system. Designed with dual microphones, enhanced noise-cancellation, seat detection and speaker location capabilities, the system enables a voice-first approach providing front seat occupants an expanded and interactive experience to access media, phone and vehicle settings, such as climate control.
