Black Line Special Edition package returns for 2025 Lexus RX

(August 23, 2024) PLANO, Texas — The limited-run Lexus RX 500h Black Line Special Edition package returns for 2025, offering another variation for the best-selling vehicle. The package is offered exclusively on the RX 500h F SPORT Performance model and features black exterior appearance parts, orange brake calipers and 21-inch split-five-spoke wheels with a black finish.

In addition to offering the Black Line Special Edition package, the 2025 RX sees the introduction of the F SPORT Design grade, available only on RX 350 and RX 350h. With the new grade, the RX is now offered in seven grades: Standard, Premium, Premium+, Luxury, F SPORT Handling, F SPORT Performance and F SPORT Design.

The 2025 RX is expected to arrive in dealerships later this year. Pricing will be available at a later date.

Limited to 500 units across North America for the 2025 model year, the Lexus RX Black Line Special Edition package builds on the RX 500h F SPORT Performance grade. Outside, the package brings Incognito as the exterior color, black exterior styling touches, and 21-inch split-five-spoke wheels with a black finish and orange brake calipers — offered on RX for the first time. Inside, the Black Line Special Edition’s sporty look is completed with a black interior accented with gray stitching throughout the interior.

For 2025, the RX also adds F SPORT Design, building on the Premium grade and available exclusively on RX 350 and RX 350h. F SPORT Design shares F SPORT Handling exterior characteristics, including the F SPORT front fascia, grille, rear valence and 21-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels with a gloss black metallic finish.

Six exterior color options are available including: Ultra White, Cloudburst Gray, Iridium, Caviar, Copper Crest and Grecian Water. The interior features Birch and Black interior options with Black Open Pore Wood trim.
