2024 Mercedes E 350 4Matic sedan — A perfectly lovely sedan

(August 4, 2024) The E-Class has been a principled staple of the Mercedes brand for more than 75 years and for 2024 has launched its newest iteration of the mid-sized sedan in two varieties: the E 350 sedan ($62,300) powered by a 255-horsepower, turbocharged inline 2.0-liter four-cylinder, and the E 450 ($68,100) with a 375-horsepower inline 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder. Both models feature standard all-wheel-drive with power delivered through a nine-speed automatic transmission and a mild 48-volt hybrid system.

(August 3, 2024) After going nearly a decade between the first and second generation with only a mild facelift in 2013 following its debut in 2009, the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse embarks on its third generation just six years after entering its second in 2018. It gains a more off-road capable trim with the addition of the Z71 model, and a 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine replaces the V6 of previous models.

Gas prices tumble as a storm looms

(August 2, 2024) WASHINGTON, D.C. — The national average for a gallon of gas dipped four cents since last week to $3.48.  The drop comes as a tropical wave with storm-forming potential is slowly approaching the Caribbean Sea. Should it enter the Gulf of Mexico, expect oil prices to move higher.
