Aston Martin wings set to fly off the shelves

(November 14, 2016) GRAYDON, England — Aston Martin has unveiled the ultimate collectible as the iconic wings that have adorned its V8 Vantage GTEs for the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) are now available for sale as a limited-edition set.

Limited to 250 pieces worldwide, each collection is framed and includes all nine iconic "WEC" wings badges mounted on a clean white mount. To ensure their authenticity, each case is individually numbered.

Buick and Porsche top annual J.D. Power sales satisfaction survey

(November 11, 2016) Buick and Porsche topped the mass-market and luxury segments in J.D. Power’s annual sales satisfaction study. Buick, with a score of 809 on a 1,000-point scale, paced mass-market brands for the first time since 2008, taking the top spot from Mini (797) — which finished second after leading the category since 2010.

Chevrolet (789) came in third and GMC (786) was fourth, while Subaru (775) and Volkswagen finished in a fifth-place tie.

Seeing is believing when it comes to road safety

"Making sure that you can see and be seen on the road is essential to avoiding motor vehicle accidents, yet many motorists overlook simple maintenance steps that can improve driving visibility," said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council.

Identified through vehicle detail page (VDP) views from its dealership network, shopping behavior was down 9 percent year-over-year.

Kelley reports new-car transaction prices up 2.3 percent year over year

(November 1, 2016) IRVINE, Calif. — The analysts at Kelley Blue Book today reported the estimated average transaction price (ATP) for light vehicles in the United States was $34,663 in October.  New-car prices have increased by $783 (up 2.3 percent) from October 2015, while remaining flat from last month.

"Transaction prices continue their upward trajectory in October, rising nearly $800 year-over-year to $34,663," said Tim Fleming, analyst for Kelley Blue Book.
