(February 27, 2023) WALWORTH, Wis.— Following $66.3 million in total sales on a 78% sell-through of 1,657 lots at Mecum Glendale 2022, Mecum Auctions will return to State Farm Stadium this March 28-April 1 for its fifth annual auction in Glendale with an estimated 2,000 vehicles and approximately 150 pieces of Road Art and memorabilia items to be offered.

Based on a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro owned by Michael Shields, the result is a remarkable vehicle that combines luxury and elegance with the astonishing performance of an 1,180hp supercharged Chevrolet 427 LS7 V8 engine.

(February 5, 2023) This video takes an interesting look back at 1950s downtown America. The shops and storefronts of the little towns were the personification of mid-century America. But the highlight of the video is the many 1950s cars and pickup trucks on the streets and parked at a downtown full-service gas station. It is worth the eight minutes.

(January 16, 2023) In the late 1980s, Chrysler transformed its Town & Country, and most other station wagons it produced, by reimagining them into its first-generation minivans, built on the front-wheel-drive S platform and sharing powertrain with Lee Iacocca’s ubiquitous K-cars. That’s notable because for most of the time leading up to then, the Town & Country was a massive, luxury-packed conventional station wagon with a longitudinal layout and an overall length that stretched right out of sight.
