(June 23, 2024) SPARTANBURG, S.C. — The first BMW X5 was driven off the line of BMW Group Plant Spartanburg on Sept. 1, 1999. Since then, nearly 3 million X5s have been assembled in Spartanburg for markets all over the world. The BMW X5 created the Sports Activity Vehicle category, and today BMW is marking 25 years of the BMW X5 with a special, limited-edition model with an emphasis on "Activity." Based on the 2025 X5 xDrive40i, the BMW X5 Silver Anniversary Edition elevates the expected on-road poise, performance, and premium accommodation with a substantial increase in off-road aptitude.

Every Bronco Off-Roadeo experience is equipped with exciting and challenging trails, custom-designed Bronco basecamp facilities and a team of expert Trail Guides.

Back on track — Lap record for Audi RS 3 Sport in the compact segment



(June 21, 2024) Frank Stippler has set a new lap record on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife with a preproduction model of the upcoming RS 3 product upgrade. The Audi Sport racing and development driver clocked an impressive time of 7:33.123 minutes, beating the current fastest lap time in this class by more than five seconds. Further proof that the enhanced top model from the A3 series is once again among the fastest compact car.

Massachusetts businesses get boost with Ford Pro EV charging program

Volvo to end sedan production in U.S.



(June 20, 2024) Volvo will end U.S. production of the S60 compact sedan — the brand's entry model — at the end of the month. The S60 was Volvo's first and until recently only U.S.-manufactured vehicle. S60 output began at the $1.1 billion factory near Charleston, S.C., in 2018, according to Automotive News.

Stellantis recalling 1.15 million vehicles over camera issue



(June 19, 2024) Stellantis is recalling 1,159,963 vehicles in the U.S. and Canada due to an issue with radio software that might interfere with a car's rearview camera display. The automaker is recalling 1,033,433 of the vehicles in the U.S. and another 126,530 in Canada, according to Automotive News.
