Jeep bursting with color — Brand debuts Bikini, Punk'n paint colors



(July 17, 2023) AUBURN HILLS,  Mich. — With summer in full swing, the Jeep brand is announcing the addition of two sunny shades, available for a limited time, to the lineup’s color palette – the Bikini exterior paint color is now available for order on the 2024 Jeep Wrangler and the Punk’n exterior paint color is now available for order on the 2023 Jeep Gladiator.

(July 15, 2023) Porsche marks the 30th anniversary of the famed Goodwood Festival of Speed in style with the world premiere of the Porsche Vision 357 Speedster. The new concept car is the sister-model to the Porsche Vision 357 with which the sports car manufacturer launched its own anniversary-year celebrations. In design terms the concept is a homage to the 356, however the all-electric Porsche Vision 357 Speedster is based on the 718 GT4 e-Performance technologically.

GMC introduces longer driving range for the 2024 Hummer EV 3X pickup

(July 14, 2023) DETROIT — GMC has announced the extended driving range for the 2024 GMC Hummer EV 3X Pickup: a whopping GM-estimated 381 miles of range on a full charge on the 3X trim with the available 24-module battery (a 26-mile increase over 2023 model year) and GM-estimated 359 miles of range on a full charge for models equipped with the available Extreme Off-Road Package (a 30-mile increase over the previous model year).

Kia announces $200 million Georgia plant expansion for EV9



(July 13, 2023) IRVINE, Calif. — Kia Georgia's West Point assembly plant is undergoing a transformation that will allow for the assembly of the all-electric 2024 EV9 three-row SUV in the second quarter of 2024. This over $200 million expansion will create nearly 200 additional jobs  with the EV9 joining the Telluride, Sorento and Sportage SUVs and the K5 mid-size sedan as the fifth model to be assembled at Kia Georgia.

Porsche beats its own record by nearly two seconds in 911 GT3 RS

(July 12, 2023) ATLANTA — In a new 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, professional race car driver Dimitri Dimakos set a new production car track record at Road America in Wisconsin. Dimakos, a veteran of the Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America, lapped the four mile, 14-turn road course in a time of two-minutes, 13.8 seconds.

Ford Escape investigated over doors opening while driving



(July 12, 2023) WASHINGTON — U.S. auto safety regulators have opened an investigation into older model Ford Escape compact crossovers after reports of an alleged safety defect that could cause the front doors to inadvertently open while driving, according to Automotive News. About 346,000 Ford Escape vehicles from the 2020-21 model years could be affected.

Stop-drive recall made for 2003 Dodge Ram pickups
