World’s most famous hot rod donated to the Petersen Museum



(March 20, 2023) LOS ANGELES — A recent donation to the Petersen Automotive Museum will ensure that generations to come can enjoy one of the quintessential American hot rods.
Renowned car collector Bruce Meyer recently handed over the keys to his 1932 Ford “McGee Roadster” to Terry L. Karges, executive director of the Petersen Automotive Museum. 

120-car collection to headline Mecum Houston auction April 13-15

(March 20, 2023) WALWORTH, Wis. — Nearly 120 highly respected and sought-after American classics from the Horton Classic Car Museum in Nocona, Texas, will be offered at no reserve as part of the estimated 1,000 total vehicles to be offered at auction at Mecum Houston 2023. The annual event will return to Houston’s NRG Center this April 13-15 with a characteristically diverse and desirable selection of classic and collector vehicles.

Ford recalls more than 1.3 million Fusion, Lincoln MKZ cars



(March 18, 2023) WASHINGTON —Ford is recalling more than 1.3 million older model sedans globally for front brake hoses that might rupture and leak brake fluid. The recall covers certain 2013-18 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ vehicles. It affects nearly 1.3 million vehicles in the U.S., about 66,000 in Canada and 18,000 in Mexico, Ford said.

Dodge Durango Hellcat owners sue Stellantis for false claims



(March 17, 202) A lawsuit filed against Stellantis last week claims the Dodge brand deceived consumers by saying the 2021 Durango SRT Hellcat would be produced for only one model year. Seven customers say they paid more for their vehicle "than they otherwise would have" and, had they known Dodge would build the Durango Hellcat beyond the 2021 model, possibly "would not have purchased the vehicle at all."

Mercedes adds more features, improved technology for AMG GLA and GLB



(March 17, 2023) With many innovations and an expanded range of standard features, the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLA 35 and GLB 35 compact SUVs will showcase a number of updates when both models arrive in U.S. dealerships later this year. The newly styled front fascia with the AMG emblem now on the hood and light signatures at the front and rear make a strong visual statement. Both models are fitted standard with revised LED headlights and taillights.

Genesis announces expansion of electric vehicle sales in U.S.

Mazda begins exports of U.S.-assembled CX-50 to Mexico



(March 17, 2023) WASHINGTON — Mazda North American Operations (MNAO), announced it has begun to export its U.S.-assembled CX-50 crossover to Mexico. The CX-50 is assembled at Mazda Toyota Manufacturing (MTM) in Huntsville, Ala. Mazda and Toyota invested $2.3 billion for the joint venture plant, which will have the capacity to assemble up to 300,000 vehicles and employ up to 4,000 team members. 

Cadillac launches year-long celebration of V-Series performance



(March 16, 2023) Cadillac has planned a year-long celebration of its V-Series performance sub-brand, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024 with this year’s SuperSebring endurance races that includes a return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans for Cadillac Racing.

BMW shows head-up display across the entire width of the windshield 




(March 16, 2023) MUNICH, Germany  — The new BMW head-up display is called BMW Panoramic Vision and goes into production with the first NEUE KLASSE models. Oliver Zipse, chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG, confirmed this during his speech at the 2023 annual conference this week.
