Marking a milestone — The 2022 Porsche 911 Edition 50 Years Porsche Design



(January 21, 2022) ATLANTA — A special milestone deserves a special car. This week Porsche announces the 2022 Porsche 911 Edition 50 Years Porsche Design. This special car commemorates the 50th anniversary of Porsche Design, the firm founded in 1972 by Ferdinand Alexander (F. A.) Porsche, designer of the 911 and son of Ferry Porsche. Based on the 911 Targa 4 GTS, the new model is limited to 750 units globally and features special aesthetic elements inspired by the first product his new company designed: the Chronograph 1.

Dodge updates two-year ‘Never Lift’ roadmap, announces launch dates

BMW Spartanburg sets production record in 2021 with 433,810 vehicles



(January 19, 2022) Spartanburg, S.C.  — BMW Manufacturing set a new production record during 2021, producing 433,810 BMW X vehicles during the year. This is a 20 percent increase over last year’s production and breaks the previous record of 411,620 units set in 2019. Additionally, the plant produced a record number of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) last year with about 70,000 units shipped. 

BMW to produce The Final V12 in June for inclusion in the M760i



(January 18, 2022)  In June, BMW will produce the very last V12 engine ever to be fitted to a BMW series production road vehicle. To mark the occasion, BMW will offer The Final V12; a limited series of 12 vehicles for customers in the U.S. Based on the BMW M760i xDrive, these will be 12 of the last V12 BMW vehicles crafted for the US market and will be distinguished by unique badging, wheels, and a choice from the vast collection of exterior colors and upholstery offered by BMW Individual.

Barrett-Jackson to auction first retail 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06



(January 18, 2022) SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.  — Barrett-Jackson will auction one of the most highly anticipated Corvettes during the auction company’s 50th anniversary celebration at WestWorld of Scottsdale, Jan. 22-30. The first retail production 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will cross the world-famous auction block on Saturday, Jan. 29 to benefit Operation Homefront, the national nonprofit celebrating 20 years of building strong, stable, and secure military families.

The Chevrolet Chevy II/Nova is a small car manufactured by Chevrolet, and produced in five generations for the 1962 through 1979, and 1985 through 1988 model years. Ringbrothers unveils custom 1969 Dodge Charger with Hellcat engine



(January 17, 2022) SPRING GREEN, Wis. — Ringbrothers, a custom car builder and parts manufacturer, has unveiled its latest creation — a custom 1969 Dodge Charger known as “CAPTIV.” The Charger makes an impressive yet “streetable” 707 horsepower from its Mopar Hellcat crate engine mated to a Tremec six-speed manual transmission. The build was completed for New Zealand-based motorsports legend and TV personality Greg Murphy.
