Lamborghini Urus traverses the Umling La Pass at 19,300 feet



(October 13, 2021) INDIA — The Lamborghini Urus has unlocked the highest drivable road in the world at the top of the Umling La Pass in India’s Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, which is 19,300ft above sea level. Built by the Border Roads Organization (BRO), the Umling La Pass is a remarkable feat of engineering carried out by the BRO under weather conditions where the minimum temperature ranges from -10 degrees to -20 degrees.

General Motors, LG Electronics reach agreement on Bolt EV recall costs

General Motors announces new center to expand battery technology



(October 12, 2021) WARREN, Mich.  — General Motors recently announced the Wallace Battery Cell Innovation Center, an all-new facility that will significantly expand the company's battery technology operations and accelerate development and commercialization of longer range, more affordable electric vehicle batteries. The Wallace Center will be located on the campus of GM's Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan.

2022 Kia Forte arrives with design upgrades and array of advanced technology



(October 12, 2021) IRVINE, Calif. — The 2022 Forte compact sedan arrives with a host of enhancements including new front and rear design elements, a newly available 10.25-inch widescreen navigation display, and an expanded suite of new and upgraded Drive Wise ADAS technology.  The compact sedan offers six standard ADAS features and a total of 15 systems, including Lane Following Assist, Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control, Highway Driving Assist, and Safe Exit Warning.

A North Carolina Wildcat



The Wildcat was a separate body style built by Buick from 1963 through 1970. This two-door 1965 Wildcat found in eastern North Carolina is the first year of the second generation (1965-70). The second-generation Wildcat came in two-door hardtop and convertible, and four-door hardtop and sedan. There were three engine options — 425 cubic inch, 430 cubic inch and 455 cubic inch V-8s. A 3-speed automatic and a 3-speed manual transmission were offered.
