Subaru produces 20-millionth all-wheel drive vehicle



(July 9, 2021) Subaru of America (SOA) has announced the global cumulative production of Subaru All-Wheel Drive vehicles surpassed 20 million in June of this year.  Subaru Corporation of Japan, parent company of SOA, achieved this milestone in the 49th year since the company introduced the Subaru Leone 4WD Estate Van, Japan's first mass-produced all-wheel drive passenger vehicle, in 1972.

BMW announces all-new driving experience at Indianapolis Motor Speedway



(July 9, 2021) WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J.  — BMW has announced that it will offer new BMW Driving Experience programs at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS), a milestone expansion for Midwest customers and enthusiasts in the brand’s nationwide driving/racing education and driving experience portfolio. The BMW Driving Experience at IMS will offer a range of driving activities in BMW M vehicles, BMW M racing vehicles, and core BMW models from across the BMW product portfolio.

Jeep reveals first images of new electrified 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe



(July 9, 2021) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Stellantis has brand revealed the first images of its all-new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrid.  The fifth generation of the Grand Cherokee, which over the past 30 years has become the most awarded SUV in history, earning countless industry accolades and achieving more than 7 million in global sales, will be officially unveiled at the 2021 New York International Auto Show and will include the full range of the Grand Cherokee lineup.

This 1966-67 International wrecker has been retired and has now become a large yard ornament in eastern North Carolina. If it could talk it would probably have some interesting stories to tell from its time picking up stranded motorists and giving them a tow.
