GLB is offered in two-row five-passenger and three-row seven-passenger configurations ($850 upcharge) with standard front-wheel drive or optional 4Matic all-wheel drive, and is surprisingly affordable ($36,600 FWD and $38,600 AWD).

Nissan Leaf brings first-ever holiday 'e-worm' ditty

(December 20, 20919) NASHVILLE, Tenn. — It's beginning to sound a lot like Christmas thanks to the 2020 Nissan Leaf. The model receives several updates, including new pedestrian warning sounds that also make for a catchy holiday ditty. Starting today, in celebration of National Go Caroling Day, the tune will be available for download via popular streaming services by searching Nissan Leaf Canto Carol.

Nissan has licensed the piece to Urban Green Lab for the holiday season; any proceeds accrued between Dec. 1 and Dec. 31 are directly collected by the nonprofit.

Honda Rose Parade float's theme is 'Our Hope for the Future'

(December 20, 2019) TORRENCE, Calif. — On Jan. 1 American Honda will mark the beginning of a new decade with the lead float in the 131st Rose Parade presented by Honda. The company’s float entry, “Our Hope for the Future,” celebrates the optimism created by the spirit, dreams and vitality of children.

Decorated with roughly 30,000 flowers, the 55-foot long float will feature six children pursuing their dreams through a variety of activities. Each child expresses a different passion: space exploration, environmental stewardship, medical science, the arts, and scientific research.

GM recalling more than 900,000 vehicles for two issues

(December 20, 2019) General Motors is issuing recalls for more than 900,000 vehicles worldwide in two separate campaigns to address brake software and fire risks.

The automaker is recalling more than 550,000 2019 light-duty Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Cadillac CT6 and GMC Sierra 1500 vehicles due to potential software issues related to the vehicles' service brake system notifications.

Honda East Liberty auto plant marks 30 years of production

Conceived as part of a visionary business strategy and built just seven years after Honda established its first U.S. automobile plant in Marysville, Ohio,  East Liberty was designed to be a highly flexible plant, capable of handling different models on the same production line. The plant has produced 5.9 million vehicles since its launch in 1989.
