Audi, Marvel Studios back together for 'Avengers: Endgame'

Aston Martin's completes first DBS Superleggeras showcasing racing heritage

(April 19, 2019) GAYDON, England — Built to celebrate one of the most illustrious moments in Aston Martin’s motorsport history, "DBS 59" is a limited run of 24 special edition DBS Superleggeras, the first of which has just been built at the company’s global manufacturing headquarters, Gaydon.

"DBS 59" was a special commission through "Q by Aston Martin," the luxury brand’s unique personalization service that allows for the creation of iconic sports cars through close collaboration with the Aston Martin design team.

Abandoned post-war Texas Cadillac



It was not until 1948 that Cadillac came out with an all-new post-war design including the first use of tailfins. The 1947 convertible captured here as an abandoned car carried on with the pre-war design. Cadillac sold only 61,926 cars in 1948, but still led luxury brands Packard and Lincoln in sales. This abandoned Caddy was found in a Texas salvage yard.
