Iconic Harley-Davidson F-150 pickup roars back into showrooms

(February 8, 2019) CHICAGO — Executives with Harley-Davidson and Tuscany Motor Co. have introduced the 2019 Harley-Davidson Ford F-150 pickup truck at the Chicago Auto Show. A concept of the Harley-Davidson branded truck was displayed at the Harley-Davidson 115-year Anniversary celebration in Milwaukee.

Strong reaction to the truck led to the collaboration for an all-new Harley-Davidson F-150. The public can see this exciting new vehicle, which is displayed in Ford Motor Company’s exhibit, from Feb. 9-18.

Mazda shows off Racing Orange in 30th anniversary edition MX-5

(February 8, 2019) Mazda held the global unveiling of the Mazda MX-5 Miata 30th Anniversary Edition at the Chicago Auto Show, which runs through Feb. 18. After 30 years and with more than 1 million examples sold, Mazda feels that the MX-5 is no longer its own creation. It belongs to the fans around the world who have supported the development of the model.

To express its gratitude, and its high hopes for the future of the MX-5, the company developed Racing Orange, an exclusive body color that evokes the breaking dawn of an exciting new day.

A used up 1959 Ford wagon



The crossover of the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s was the so-called station wagon. One of the most popular was the 1959 Ford wagon that could carry up to nine people. Unlike today, manufacturers offered a full range of engines. For example, the '59 Ford could be purchased with five engine sizes ranging from an inline 6 making 145 horsepower to a massive 7.0-liter V-8 making 350 horsepower. Prices ranged from $2,565 to $3,075. This abandoned example was discovered in Arizona.

Ford invests $1 billion in Chicago plants; 500 jobs will be created

(February 8, 2019) CHICAGO — Ford is investing $1 billion in Chicago Assembly and Stamping Plants and adding 500 new jobs as it prepares to launch three highly anticipated new SUVs that go on sale later this year. The transformation at the plant, which will begin in March, will expand capacity for the production of the all-new Ford Explorer — including the Explorer ST and Explorer Hybrid — the all-new Police Interceptor Utility and the all-new Lincoln Aviator.

Jeep brand's 'More Than Just Words' commercial gets 106 million views

(February 6, 2019) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — FCA US debuted eight commercials online last week as part of its “Big Game Blitz” digital and social strategy. One of the commercials, the Jeep brand's “More Than Just Words” has smashed the company’s record for most online views, with over 106 million, more than the audience size for the Super Bowl broadcast.
