Dale Earnhardt Jr. to pace 2019 Daytona 500 in 2019 Chevy Silverado

(December 12, 2018) DETROIT — Dale Earnhardt Jr. will find himself in a very familiar place at the 2019 Daytona 500: at the front of the pack. Earnhardt Jr., a two-time Daytona 500 winner, will drive the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado pace truck to lead the field to green for the 61st running of The Great American Race. This is the first time the Daytona 500 will be paced by a pickup truck.

Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign production design confirmed

(December 9, 2018) YOKOHAMA, Japan — Nissan has confirmed the production design of the Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign — the ultimate expression of the GT-R — and has opened the official order books for the 50-vehicle limited run. The car's exterior is virtually unchanged from the prototype first shown in July at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England. Pricing of the NISMO-tuned 720PS GT-R by Italdesign will start at 990,000 euros ($1.128 million) before taxes and options.

Gateway Bronco signs license agreement with Ford

(December 7, 2018) HAMEL,Ill. — Gateway Bronco, innovative restorer of the first-generation Ford Bronco, announced on Thursday that it has finalized a license agreement with Ford Motor Company. Under the new agreement, Gateway Bronco will be licensed by Ford to create 1966-77 Broncos according to the Low Volume Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Act of 2015.
