Cadillac to expand Super Cruise across entire lineup by 2020

(June 7, 2018) NEW YORK — Cadillac plans to expand the rollout of Super Cruise, the world’s first true hands-free driver assistance feature for the freeway. Super Cruise will be available on all Cadillac models, with the rollout beginning in 2020. After 2020, Super Cruise will make its introduction in other General Motors brands.

Cadillac also plans to offer V2X communications in a high-volume crossover by 2023 and eventually expand the technology across Cadillac’s portfolio.

(June 6, 2018) Earlier this year we drove and reviewed the updated 2019 Jeep Cherokee when members of the automotive media were invited to California for its “first drive” introduction. Jeep provided both the Latitude and Overland trim levels and a very limited amount of time in the Trailhawk model for test-driving. Jeep engineers promised I’d get more time behind the wheel of the Trailhawk Elite in the coming months and that time came a week ago when I fully tested the “Trail Rated” Elite.

National gas price average falls for first time in three months

(June 5, 2018) Dropping by two-cents on the week, the national gas price average is $2.95. This is the first time there has been a decrease in the national average since mid-March. The drop, albeit it small, follows the latest Energy Information Administration (EIA) report showing consistently strong demand although it is running slightly below (100,000 barrels a day less) the same week last year.
