Volkswagen I.D. R Pikes Peak breaks new ground in aerodynamics

(May 22, 2018) WOLFSBURG, Germany — In preparation for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, the Volkswagen Motorsport team engineered the aerodynamics of the I.D. R Pikes Peak — the brand’s first fully-electric racing car — specifically to tackle the most famous hill climb in the world. The goal at the race, which takes place on June 24 near Colorado Springs, Col., is to break the record in the class for electric prototypes, which currently stands at 8:57.118 minutes.

Morgan to show iconic Routemaster bus at events throughout year

Manufactured, like the first Morgan Plus 8, in 1968 and delivered for its first service in January of that year this Routemaster — registration SMK 759F — is expected to have clocked over 1.5 million miles during its lifetime.

Waze traffic, navigation can now be controlled with voice commands

Volkswagen group sales are strong worldwide in April

(May 21, 2018) WOLFSBURG, Germany — The Volkswagen Group and its brands continued on their growth path in April. At 927,200 units, deliveries by the Group in April were 10.2 percent higher than the same month last year. Over 3.6 million vehicles have been handed over to customers since the beginning of the year, 8.1 percent more than in 2017.
