(April 4, 2018) Believe it or not, the Lexus GS mid-level performance sedan is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the American market. It arrived in 1993, one year after the launch of the remarkable full-size LS sedan and smaller ES Camry-clone sedan — the first two models Toyota offered as part of its premium brand. 

From racetrack to worksite — New Silverado adopts 'flowtie'

(April 4, 2018) INDIANAPOLIS — The all-new Chevrolet Silverado 4500HD/5500HD/6500HD trucks took a design cue from an unlikely source: the Chevrolet Camaro. The “flowtie,” first introduced on the front grille of the 2014 Camaro Z/28 and now standard on the 2018 Camaro ZL1, is the chrome outline of the traditional Chevrolet bowtie but with the center removed, allowing increased engine airflow to help improve performance.

Refreshed 2019 Acura TLX gets expanded 2.4-liter A-Spec appearance package

(April 4, 2018)  TORRANCE, Calif. — Fresh off last year's comprehensive redesign, the 2019 Acura TLX will begin landing in Acura dealerships nationwide starting today. Given the resounding sales success of the V6-powered TLX A-Spec, Acura has expanded its increasingly popular sport appearance package to include 2.4-liter TLX models.

Toyota, Lexus recalling 6,000 vehicles over brake assist issue

(April 3, 2018) PLANO, Texas — Toyota today announced that it is conducting a safety recall in the U.S. of approximately 6,000 Model Year 2018 Camry and Highlander vehicles and Model Year 2017 Sienna, Tacoma and Lexus RX350 vehicles.
 
The involved vehicles are equipped with a vacuum pump assembly, which provides braking assist. A component in the vacuum pump assembly may have been manufactured incorrectly. 

Subaru marks 30th anniversary of STI performance

The Aviator returns to Lincoln

(April 2, 2018) The return of the Aviator name to the Lincoln stable isn’t the big news. That is reserved for the new rear-drive/all-wheel drive platform (a.k.a. D6 inside Ford) that it will share with the next-generation Ford Explorer. The Aviator will stand beside the Navigator at the top of the Lincoln lineup, with the transverse-engine Nautilus and MKC acting as the entry-level and mid-level crossovers.

Mustang Bullitt goes on sale this summer for $47,495
