Ford introduces third Mustang Bullitt on 50th anniversary of movie

(January 15, 2018) DETROIT — Celebrating the 50th anniversary of iconic movie “Bullitt” and its fan-favorite San Francisco car chase, Ford has introduced the new cool and powerful 2019 Mustang Bullitt.

Third-generation member of the McQueen family, Molly, starred in a special movie of her own introducing the new third-generation Bullitt at the North American International Auto Show. In the film, Molly races a new Mustang Bullitt through a parking structure battling a Dodge Charger for the final free space.

Ford Ranger returns to North America; new truck revealed in Detroit

(January 14, 2018) DETROIT — Ford today revealed the all-new 2019 Ford Ranger for North America, bringing midsize truck fans a new choice from America’s truck sales leader — one that’s engineered Built Ford Tough and packed with driver-assist technologies to make driving easier whether on- or off-road.

Production begins late this year at Ford’s Michigan Assembly Plant as customer demand is growing for midsize trucks. U.S. sales are up 83 percent since 2014 as a new generation of midsize truck buyers seek more maneuverable, fuel-efficient pickups.

Chevrolet introduces all-new 2019 Silverado pickup

Buick records second straight year of 1.4 million worldwide sales

(January 13, 2018) DETROIT — Buick delivered more than 1.4 million vehicles globally in 2017. The year saw a spirited pace of new vehicle launches, including the Enclave, Enclave Avenir, Regal Sportback, Regal TourX, Regal GS, GL6, Velite 5, Excelle GX and LaCrosse Avenir.

In North America, Canada retail growth was up 15.1 percent and U.S. retail growth was up 1.6 percent. The brand also celebrated its best year ever in China. Over the past five years, Buick has continued to grow at a steady pace, with 8.4 percent annual growth.

Ducati closes 2017 on a positive note

Lincoln experiences record sales in China

(January 13, 2018) DEARBORN, Mich. — With record China sales, The Lincoln Motor Company expanded its global growth in 2017 with 188,383 vehicles sold, a 13 percent gain and its best performance since 2000. In the United States, Lincoln SUV sales continued to increase, while sales in China were up 66 percent year-over-year.

Lincoln SUVs had their best year since 2003 in the United States, with 71,607 vehicles sold in 2017. In addition, the Navigator set the stage for a strong year by selling 1,444 vehicles in December, its first month of sales.
