World Ducati Week dates set for July 20-22

(October 22, 2017) The World Ducati Week is back for 2018. Every two years, the largest Ducati rally in the world brings together thousands of enthusiasts, as shown by the approximately 81,000 visitors who animated the last edition.

The 10th WDW dates are: July 20-22, and as a tradition, it will be at the "Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli," in Misano Adriatico, Italy.

2018 Nissan Maxima starts at $33,905

Toyota issues statement of impact of Kobe Steel announcements

(October 22, 2017) Toyota Motor Corp. has issued a statement and provided an update regarding its investigation into the impact of Kobe Steel’s recent announcements on improper conduct related to materials used in vehicle bodies, specifically for Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

The ongoing, initial phase of investigation has been focused on aluminum plates based on the information received from Kobe Steel on Oct. 8. Toyota has confirmed that the affected aluminum plates were used in the construction of hoods, rear hatch, and front door hinge components of certain vehicles.

Volkswagen developing electric race car for 2018 Pikes Peak Hill Climb

(October 20, 2017) Volkswagen is developing an all-electric race car for the world’s most famous mountain race, the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado on June 24, 2018. The all-wheel-drive prototype’s goal is to set a new record for electric cars at the finish line, 14,000 feet above sea level.

The new motorsport project is part of Volkswagen’s process of transforming itself into the leading producer of electric vehicles. By 2025, the Volkswagen brand will already offer 23 all-electric models.

Ford tripling number of workplace charging stations in next two years

(October 20, 2017) DEARBORN, Mich. — When it comes to workplace charging, Ford has found that if you build it, they will come, and they will charge.

They are U.S. and Canadian Ford employees, who say the company’s 200 current charging stations at 50 facilities have given them the confidence to buy or lease an electric vehicle without worrying where they can charge away from home.
