Bollinger Motors reveals first image of 4-door B1 all-electric SUV

(September 10, 2017) Bollinger Motors has revealed the first image of the 4-door version of its B1 all-electric sport utility truck. The sketch also shows off a new orange exterior color which will also be available at launch.

“We always wanted to make a 4-Door version of the B1,” said Robert Bollinger, designer and CEO. “And our assistant designer Ross Compton and I developed a great sketch. The vehicle still has great proportions and it’s amazing off-road capabilities remain intact since we only had to stretch the chassis by 9 inches”

It had a plant in Illinois, shared technology and platforms (and entire vehicles) with Chrysler, and was Subaru before Subaru was Subaru, with its World Rally Championship Evo models and turbocharged, all-wheel drive Galant VR4s for the street.

Cadillac's global sales rise 13.5 percent in August

(September 8, 2017) Cadillac globally sold 32,084 units in August, maintaining a 15-month run of consecutive growth.  The brand is on pace to surpass last year’s total of 308,718 vehicles sold. Year-to-date, sales are up 39,354 units compared to August 2016, totaling 221,566 units.

“The transformation of Cadillac continues to accelerate with the globalization of our commercial footprint,” said Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen.

Production of new Nissan Leaf to begin this fall in Tennessee

(September 8, 2017) YOKOHAMA, Japan — Strengthening its global leadership in zero-emission electric vehicles, Nissan plans to start full production of the new Nissan Leaf at Nissan's Vehicle Assembly Plant in Smyrna, Tenn., and at Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd. in Sunderland, U.K., by the end of 2017.

The two production sites join Nissan's Oppama Plant in Japan, which is producing the new generation electric vehicle.

Jaguar Land Rover says it will electrify its entire lineup by 2020
