Jaguar brings excitement to Dull and Boring Day with 2018 F-Type

(August 10, 2017) MAHWAH, N.J. — On Dull and Boring Day Jaguar announced the launch of a new campaign for the 2018 Jaguar F-Type to bring excitement to the two towns of Dull, Perthshire in Scotland and Boring in Oregon, U.S.

Jaguar selected two residents of Boring, and another pair from Dull, to inspire some excitement in each of the chosen towns. Each pair was given a new 2018 Jaguar F-Type R, the most dynamically capable and performance-oriented sports car in the Jaguar family line up, to add a little adventure and excitement to their lives by turning everyday journeys in Dull and Boring, including visits to local stores, coffee shops and gas stations, into a thrilling ride.

Subaru donates 50 cars to Meals on Wheels America

(August 9, 2017) CHERRY HILL, N.J. — In celebration of its 50th anniversary, and in keeping with its philosophy of supporting local communities, Subaru of America has announced its donation of 50 vehicles to Meals on Wheels America. This fall, 50 new 2018 Subaru Outback vehicles will be donated to select Meals on Wheels programs throughout the county, to be used in the delivery of an estimated 53,000 meals to an additional 3,700 seniors across 39 states.

Volkswagen bus party draws convoy of 350 vehicles in Germany

(August 8, 2017) HANOVER, Germany — A perfect, long summer weekend drew VW bus fans from all over Europe celebrating at an open-air party on the grounds of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles' Hannover plant. Prior to the finale was a convoy of around 350 vehicles of all six vehicle generations from Wolfsburg to Hannover, where the T-series is made today.

The event was the final highlight of the four-day VW Bus Summer Festival in Wolfsburg's Allerpark, of which Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles was the main sponsor.

Faraday Future reveals new California manufacturing facility

(August 8, 2017) For the last two years 13 staff at Classic Motor Cars (CMC) have been working on a top secret project, the restoration of a one-off Pininfarina bodied XK120 SE which is to be unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours on Sunday, Aug. 20.

On Aug. 4, the team, which had been supported by everybody on company’s 60 plus workforce, were pictured with the car — “under wraps”.
