Cadillac global sales rise 7.2 percent in June

(July 7, 2017) NEW YORK — Cadillac globally sold 27,636 units in June 2017, an increase of 7.2 percent. Growth in Asia helped to fuel global sales. China sales were up by 34.9 percent, accompanied by gains in South Korea and Japan. For the year to date, Cadillac sales in China are up 75.4 percent.

However, sales in the U.S. slipped 11.8 percent in June dropping from 14,263 in June 2016 to 12,580 this year.

Subaru records 67th consecutive month of sales increases

(July 5, 2017) CHERRY HILL, N.J. — Subaru of America has reported 52,057 vehicle sales for June, an 11.7 percent increase over June 2016, and the best June in the history of the company. The automaker also reported year-to-date sales of 304,810 vehicles, a 9.1 percent gain over the same period in 2016.

June marked the 40th consecutive month of 40,000+ vehicle sales for the company. Crosstrek, Forester, Outback and Impreza sales were notably strong as each model achieved its best June ever.

Volvo says every car it builds starting in 2019 will have an electric motor

Army hydrogen technology tests on diesel trucks yield 15% mileage gain
