Dodge introduces new Widebody Challenger SRT Hellcat

(June 28, 2017) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — When the new 840-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Demon raced down the drag strip to open the New York Auto Show in April, Dodge unleashed the ultimate street-to-strip car. On Tuesday, the brand followed up on its performance car mantra, introducing the new 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody, answering enthusiasts who have been clamoring for a factory-production Hellcat with even more grip.  
 

2018 Maserati Gran Turismo makes debut at NY Stock Exchange

(June 28, 2017) NEW YORK — In a very unusual introduction, Maserati chose the New York Stock Exchange Tuesday to unveil its 2018 GranTurismo. With its restyled exterior in “Grigio Granito” color and refined black leather interior, the GranTurismo MC (short for Maserati Corse) made its world debut at the Experience Square at the main entrance of the NYSE.

Rambler American in Arizona



The year 1964 marked the beginning of the third generation Rambler American by American Motors. It was built through 1969 with five body styles including convertible, 2-door hardtop and coupe, 4-door sedan and 4-door station wagon. Three inline 6-cylinder engines (base engine 90 hp) and four V-8s were offered. Transmissions included 3 and 4-speed manuals and a 3-speed automatic. This Rambler convertible was found in Mayer, Ariz.

Aston Martin confirms production of first all-electric model

(June 27, 2017) GAYDON, England — Less than two years after being unveiled as a concept, Aston Martin is today confirming that the all-electric RapidE will enter production in 2019.

Set for a limited production run of 155 cars, RapidE is Aston Martin’s first all-electric model. As such it spearheads development of the brand’s low- and zero-emission vehicle strategy laid out by Aston Martin’s President and CEO, Dr Andy Palmer, in the company’s Second Century Plan.

BMW introduces all-new 2018 X3 crossover

(June 27, 2017) SPARTANBURG, S.C. — The all-new 2018 BMW X3 was unveiled Monday at the BMW Plant Spartanburg where it will be produced alongside the BMW X4, BMW X5, and BMW X6. BMW is at home in Spartanburg producing 411,171 BMW X models last year, making it the largest BMW Group’s global production facility with approximately 70 percent of the vehicles exported to 140 markets worldwide, thereby making BMW the largest vehicle exporter in the U.S. by value.

New 296-HP Ingenium 4-cylinder engine to power 2018 Jaguars

(June 26, 2017) MAHWAH, N.J. — Jaguar is introducing an all-new efficient and powerful 296 horsepower version of the Ingenium four cylinder gasoline engine to the 2018 XE and XF sedans, as well as the F-PACE performance SUV models.

The 2.0-liter four-cylinder Ingenium gasoline engine produces 295-lb.ft. of torque for exceptional acceleration. That’s enough to power the F-PACE to travel from 0-60mph in 5.7 seconds with fuel economy of up to 25 mpg highway.

Mercedes-Benz Bremen plant begins production of E-Class Cabriolet

(June 26, 2017) BREMEN, Germany — Series production of the new E-Class Cabriolet has started at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen. The open four-seater with a classic fabric soft top combines puristic, sensuous design with long-distance comfort for four occupants and the latest technology.

This includes comprehensive smartphone integration with a wireless charging and key function, a widescreen cockpit and the latest assistance systems. The market launch is in late summer 2017.
