Over 80% of consumers would not buy a car from dealer with data breach

(June 20, 2016)  NEW YORK — Total Dealer Compliance (TDC), a car dealership compliance-auditing firm, today announced key findings from its second car dealership survey which targeted both consumers and car dealers. Among the survey’s key findings are results indicating that nearly 84% of consumers would not buy another car from a dealership after their data had been compromised, while only 30% of dealers employ a network engineer with Computer Security certifications/training.

Acura NSX-inspired EV Concept to tackle Pike's Peak

(June 20, 2016) Ford’s first generation Ka small car, sold in Europe and South America, was a premium small three-door produced from 1996-2008, and based on the fourth generation Ford Fiesta. Based on a Ghia concept, the Saetta, the Ka was known for its roly-poly shape overlaid with “New Edge” detailing, and large one-piece molded bumpers and wheel arches. It was replaced in 2009 by a new car built in Poland by Fiat on the 500 platform.

Classic 1970 Toyota Corolla joins 130 vintage cars in the Great Race

(June 18, 2016) SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — A great race for a great car!  An iconic first-generation 1970 Toyota Corolla sedan will be joining more than 130 vintage cars in the Great Race, a long-distance endurance competition.  Starting in Northern California and ending in Moline, Ill. Toyota’s participation is part of the Corolla’s 50th anniversary celebration.

Bronco has seen better days



The Ford Bronco sport utility vehicle hit the market in 1966 and was built mostly unchanged through 1977. The original Bronco, labeled an ORV (Off-Road Vehicle), was designed to compete against the Jeep CJ. The initial engine was a 2.8-liter straight six. Five generations of the Bronco were built through the 1996 model year. This early Bronco has been stripped of most of its equipment inside and out. But the body appears in relatively good shape.

The Cruze hatch is the latest addition to the expanding Cruze lineup, which was redesigned for 2016. It will be offered in LT and Premier trims, and with the RS package.
